While working for Mackevision South Korea, we were approached by Hyundai to make a CG animation for their new concept car, the Elantra - which has since been voted North America’s car of the year in 2021.

The brief was to create a 2-3 minute animation, highlighting key features of the car. We approached it as though it were a live-action piece, working with Cinematographer Charles Heales (whom I had worked with on various music videos) to guide the shots.

The GC animation was developed in a relatively short time due to the generic backgrounds (we focused on tunnels and warehouses) and the results are still impressive many years later.
